Small delay on the Pledge Manager!

Hello all!

We were testing the Pledge Manager yesterday and we found some bugs, which are now being fixed.

Unfortunately we will need just a bit more time to go through all again and make sure it's all ready for you guys. So we are delaying the launch to up to Sunday (the 18th).

We are also re-testing the supports for the 1/18 scales. There are no major issues on them and we will further explain the why on the 2nd "official" Pledge Manager update over the weekend.

The Pledge Manager will also contain a few questions for you all regarding the feedback for this campaign. And it would mean the world for us if you could take your time with them, to make sure we can further improve your experience during the late pledge and also future campaigns.

Final Hours Sneaky Peaks!

Throughout this campaign we reached out to a selection of talented artists and offered them a very sneaky opportunity to get early access to this campaign’s models. Thank you all for being part of this campaign! Thanks to you Nkosi and his journey have come to life!

We are now on our way to the Stretch Goals which we will be taking to the Pledge Manager and running a 2nd campaign for it!

Stretch Goals

Nkosi's campaign it's not only about the sculpts and his journey, but also about expanding the Blood Oak Universe, bringing more characters to life and value to everyone who chooses to join us during this phase.

As mentioned before, we will let the backers decide which Stretch Goals should be prioritized, so everyone gets excited with the first unlocked ones!

The Plan and how it changed

We had planned to make a surprise reveal of the corrupted Asturians after the current stretch goals had been unlocked. 

However, we noticed how the community loved their designs, so we are bringing them early to the table and offering them as an option for backers to vote and place them between the first Stretch Goals.

Corrupted Asturians

The Corruption in our Universe carries different meanings. Although we cannot reveal it all, we can say that although most beings lose themselves to the madness that the Corruption brings, there are a few special ones that can overcome it. As a consequence they not only change forever, but also become part of the undead Tribe. 

On top of that, there are also different factors that can affect the design. E.g.

• How long since the being has been affected by the corruption
• What level of deformity it has? The more deformed, the closer you will need to look to find out what they used to be.
• What is the worse trait in their personality.
• Other things that we cannot yet reveal...

Below are a few spoilers. 

The numbers for Pledge Manager

We are open to add one stretch goal that is "quantity" driven. By that we mean that we can take what would cost to make one character and use it to make 32mm or 7mm ones.

e.g. One 1/12 Scale Figure has the cost of up to Ten 7mm miniature figures. 

Therefore if voted by most backers we can add this as an option between the new added Stretch Goals.

Your own Corrupted Asturian

We will also be offering exclusive addons to further help unlock the rest of the stretch goals.

One of them will be related to what we envision for the future of Blood Oak: for you to have your own character in our Universe. I.e having our Illustration team creating your own Asturian (or Corrupted Asturian).

At 125NZD (~77.48USD), you will be able have a concept Art (as seen above) for your own character from Astur. Full body. 

Conditions will apply, since there are rules in place for all designs. E.g. we wont make a mermaid Asturian 😅.

We have been mentioned in one of FauxHammer's videos while he was reviewing one of our favorite printers. He was very kind and demonstrated more potential in our figures than we initially thought possible.

We highly recomment it for those who want to print our characters in scales smaller than 7mm. Faux has shown some amazing results!

Hello everyone! We are almost reaching our Main Goal now, and since we want to unlock those sweet stretch goals we will be taking them on to the Pledge Manager! 

How can you can help?

Sharing our Kickstarter is already a huge help! And when everyone starts to print the first STL's and display them for the community you can mention that there is still time for them to join with late pledge and unlock the stretch goals with us, and as consequence receive that sweet free extra high detail STL's.

Secret Stretch Goals

As some of you noticed, we did have some exciting new Stretch Goals to be revealed under the Corruption path. Those are sculpts that we would love to do which would display different Asturians changed by the Corruption.

How changed you ask? Well, imagine what a minotaur would look like if it was infected by "The Thing", or inside the movie "Annihilation".

Now once we get into the Pledge Manager we will send you some questions, so we can have a selection of the most popular stretch goals at the front of the list, ready to be unlocked there. 

The campaign so far

Yes, this campaign has not been as fast as the previous ones, and one of the reasons we know to be a factor is not reaching the goal within the first days. When a campaign accomplishes that, the algorithm starts to boost its reach considerably, something that was seen in our previous two campaigns.

But rest assured we will keep running a marketing campaign on Pledge Manager and make more collabs with more talented creators in order to maximise all pledges value.

The world of Astur is very rich and we want everyone (including our team in their free time) to explore all that it can offer.
